Poster Back Systems
Poster Back Systems is the successor to Postermate Co. which branded its framing system under the name: “the original PosterPal peel & Stick Poster Frame” system of mounting everything from pictures to large full sized poster.
The original idea came about from a need to display regional maps of wild land areas used to locate certain wild berries and mushrooms throughout the Pacific Northwest. We found additional used for peel & stick framing such as blue prints, shop posters, and other business applications.
In the meantime Rick LaMonte applied for and received a patent from the U.S. Patent Office for the original framing system concept. While the original patent did not include either a method of hanging posters without the use of a hanging device, an patent application was filed in 2023 with the USPTO outlining an original poster frame hanging device named “Bowtie Hanging Device” which is now in front of patent officers being allowing for the status of “Patent Pending.”
Our hope has always been to market and sell an inexpensive alternative to frame shop framing which often runs to several hundreds of dollars. This framing system is easy to assemble, cheep, and best of all, a complete framing system from the framing struts to the Bowtie hanging method and a no hole wall hook we call ”the wall mount J Hook.” This is the only “do it yourself” Poster framing system that our customers can completely assemble without relaying on additional components which neet to be purchased.
